Reading the table

Rows are sorted by area and then by name; no place is ranked above another.

A dash (—) means the place does not publish that fact.
+N: more on the place’s page.
≈: price per class worked out from a package price.
picture, in app, on request: published only as an image, kept inside a booking app, or given when you ask.
web: the languages of the website, shown when the place names none for its classes.
y: years, mo: months. The date under a name is the day its sources were last read. Distances are measured in a straight line.

How this list is made

47 places; 30 with published ages; 5 with a published price; prices MYR 620 to 2,000 per month; 4 spanning the full after-school window; sources read between and .

This page lists after-school care, often called transit or 安亲班 in Kuala Lumpur: staff look after school-age children for a stated part of the afternoon. Above the line are programmes whose published hours cover all of 15:00 to 18:00 on a weekday, extensions included.

Below the line are care programmes that start after 15:00, end before 18:00, or publish no hours.

When a centre also gives tuition, only its care is listed and the tuition is left out. School pick-up is shown on the place’s page when the place states it. Rows are sorted by area, then by name, with no ranking.
